| For consumer electronics, today’s digital tools and gadgets are used in more power hungry modes that require access to more energy in a format that is quick charging and portable. For industrial applications, there is motivation for long term, environmentally safe, and maintenance free solutions that are cost effective. For transportation applications, the advent of new motive technologies signals a clear shift towards vehicles, both large and small, that need to be energy efficient while also maintaining full functionality. At first, our devices could target these areas by working in applications that have short design cycles or emerging ideas where a new balance of power and energy must be met. Later, advanced generations of our devices could even replace certain conventional batteries as our energy density is ever increased. |
